Hi,

This class, Certificate in Integrative Nursing Course, started in April 2009. Who do you think made this class? The teachers made this class, do you think? NO!! This is big NO!!

Incruding me, some foreign studens were learning English in the ESL at SDUIS, we recognized that we were nurses in their own countries and prepared for the NCLEX-RN (nursing examination for RN).

A French student of us said to me, "We need special class for us such as NCLEX-RN preparation class that also ensures our F-1 visa status. And, this course must be a crtification course!"

When I heard her opinion, I thought it was impossible to create new class by our selves. That is because we are just student!!

However, the result was totally different!!

She and two other foreign students wrote a persuasive essay, and they send the essay to our school's director.

What do you think happened after that?

Yes, this course came into existence in the world!! That is why I really appreciate it that they did. I am proud of this course, and I want to help those who try to study the NCREX-RN.

Hi,

I am Hasegawa, Japanese, living in San Diego. Now I become a recruiter for San Diego University for Integrative Studies, SDUIS. In order to introduce this school to plenty of people--- especially those who are studying NCLEX-RN and those who want to get Optional Practical Training (OPT) and Social Security Number (SS#), I am writing this blog.

First of all, I posted the course descriptions. That sounds difficult for you?!

Because of official documents, this descriptions look difficult; however, the teachers, classmates are really friendly as if you were in real family!

Why do you think this happens?!

Because, we are GOOD NURSES!!
We can respect each other, and share a lot of information that they experienced in their own countries.

The class is very interactive compared with ESL class. I hope you can improve nursing knowledge related to the NCLEX-RN as well as English conversation skill.
